Gov. Murphy, Mayor Cahill Take Part in Groundbreaking For $665M Hub Project

Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway announced today the creation of the Rutgers Translational Research facility that will constitute the backbone of the New Jersey Innovation & Technology Hub.

Not only will the State University create a space where its innovations can be developed and brought to market, but as TAPinto New Brunswick first reported on Wednesday, the school also announced The Hub would become the home to the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The extent of Rutgers’ participation at The Hub was unveiled at Thursday’s groundbreaking ceremony attended by Holloway, Gov. Phil Murphy, Mayor Jim Cahill, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and other officials.
