Public Media NJ, Inc. Announces the Election of Elizabeth T. Mazzeo and Christopher Paladino to its Board of Trustees

March 21, 2024 – NEWARK, NJ – Public Media NJ, Inc. (PMNJ), operator of NJ PBS, New Jersey’s public media network, announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Trustees: Elizabeth T. Mazzeo, Retired Chief Administrative Officer of Bloomberg LP, and Christopher Paladino, President of the New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO).

“We are thrilled to have Beth and Chris join our Board,” said Chairman Scott Kobler. “They are influential business leaders who have made their mark in New Jersey and their experience and insight are key to the future growth and public awareness of NJ PBS.”

As Chief Administrative Officer at Bloomberg LP, Mazzeo had responsibility for the company’s global support team across 170+ offices, more than 40K client firms and over 20K employees. Her department of more than 1,700 people was responsible for the operation of Bloomberg’s global real estate and facilities portfolio, supply chain, security, travel and expense along with technical customer and employee support and infrastructure. Mazzeo joined Bloomberg in 1986 and has since held roles across Bloomberg’s trading systems and data teams before serving as Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to Bloomberg, she worked for the financial services firm Integrated Resources. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Villanova School of Business (VSB) in 1981. Mazzeo is also a former member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at VSB. She has been a member of Villanova’s Board of Trustees since 2013 and became its Chair in 2023.

Paladino has served as President of the New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO) since 1994. Under his leadership, DEVCO has developed 8.3 million square feet in residential, commercial, academic, and institutional development projects valued at $3.5 billion. He is currently leading the development of the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center project together with a new elementary school. Also underway is H-1 @ The HELIX, a $730 million facility which, along with the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will include a Translational Research facility in partnership with Rutgers University and the New Jersey Innovation Hub to provide space for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Most recently, he led the completion of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center and residential tower. Prior projects completed under Paladino’s stewardship have included development of the new Atlantic City campus for Stockton University, the South Jersey Gas headquarters, the College Avenue Redevelopment Initiative on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus, and the renovation of the former Rutgers Law School in Newark as university housing. He received both his bachelor’s and law degrees from Rutgers University. He has served as a Distinguished Senior Policy Fellow at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and is a Trustee of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Board and Director of South Jersey Industries.
